My Lady bug's 1st Birthday Party

I have been MIA from blog land for over a week! I have missed it. We have been busy with traveling, visiting family, weddings, and of course the big 1st birthday!
My Baby Girl's 'Lady Bug' party was so fun to plan over the last 2 months. I enjoyed every moment with family &friends and of course the little lady on the actual day( two weeks ago)!
Here is a recap of the party:

The invitations were won on this blog through a giveaway!
I made this Tutu and shared through this tutorial.

I bought a $4 old navy shirt and ironed on the Ladybug!

I always like to dress the family in the theme colors.
JJ's Nike outfit that he got from his last birthday was perfect!
My husband knew what to do and wore the colors too!
I made a picture banner for her 1st year of life on this tutorial.

The Centerpieces were quite fun. On this tutorial you will read how it was my first time doing tissue flowers. So easy &cheap!

I attached balloons to the Centerpieces to add a little flare. The polka dot balloons can be purchased at party city.

One of my favorite things to decorate was the Sweets table & Food table!

We served Mexican food because it was Cinco De Mayo!

I found free printable labels for the water & food on this blog. Can we say Sweet!

Activities for the Party:

Photo Booth:

I got streamers from the Dollar Store and printed out a Birthday banner from the same site as the food & water labels!

2. Musical LadyBug Dots

3.

4. Coloring Lady Bug station

One of my favorite parts of the party was cupcake & birthday song time!!!
I made this homemade cupcake stand on this tutorial

I also won the cupcake toppers through the same blog giveaway as the invitations!
The cupcakes were red velvet with red frosting & junior mints and chocolate chips were placed on top!

Favors:
Lady bug, lady bug catcher, lady bug sandwich container, and lady bug bubbles. All purchased at the dollar spot(Target) & Dollar general.

We did a ladybug theme for our daughter's first birthday in June but that just meant I made a ladybug cupcake cake! This looks like it was such a fun party :)
