Last Wednesday around 0845 pm my husband was on his way home from work. He got into a car accident that left him 100 feet down the side of a freeway. When I arrived to the E.R. I was told no one was seriously hurt, Mr.Wonderful was not scratched, and neither was the car.
My Father In-law went to pick up the car from the towing company the next morning. The company told him that the police had made a mistake and did not see the damage of the car in the dark. Mr. Wonderful took out an emergency yellow phone pole(which damaged the hood of the car), busted 2 tires, and the entire back window shattered.
We no longer will see that car but I still have my Mr. Wonderful. He blacked out during the accident, has whip lash, and is very sore.
Gratitude,my word for the year has been expressed over and over to God!
I am grateful that in this post I am not sharing how my husband got seriously hurt or that I am now a widow. Just writing that W word gives me chills. I have no doubt that the Lord placed a hedge of protection around him last Wednesday night. I can't tell you how many times my eyes have watered over the last couple of days over my husbands existence.
Take the time today and forever to cherish & be grateful for your loved ones. I still have a Husband.
Life is such a miracle everyday. My kids still have a Daddy.

Wow, that's scary! I'm glad your husband wasn't seriously hurt!
That's so scary!! My hubby was actually just in a bad car accident two weeks ago...he was hit twice by a snow plow truck (those things are huge!). My hubby hit his head on the window and shattered it and his car was a write off too. So scary but so thankful that he was ok!! Thanks for the follow...I'm following you back :)
What a blessing it is that he wasn't hurt! I can't imagine how thankful you must be. Thank you, Jesus!
